Muslim Sexual Predator Has Suspended Sentence Reviewed

Muslim Sex Abuser in UKThe suspended sentence handed to a Koran teacher who sexually abused an 11-year-old girl will be reviewed by the Attorney General after protests from Muslim women’s groups.

Suleman Maknojioa from Blackburn was given a 40-week suspended sentence for abusing the girl, after his defence argued that his wife couldn’t speak English and the household was dependent on him.

But that decision will now be looked at again after dozens of people complained to the Attorney General’s office. The Crown Prosecution Service could then send the case to the court of appeal to be reconsidered.

The abuse took place over a nine-month period when Maknojioa, a respected Islamic scholar, was giving the victim and her two brothers Koran lessons at their home three times a week.

It’s hard to believe that this creep who sexually abused an eleven year old girl was given a suspended sentence.  Have the members of the British legal system lost their minds? Thank goodness there was enough of an outcry from the Muslim Women’s Network UK   to have the case reconsidered.

Muslim Sex Offender Let Go Due to ‘Cultural Differences’

Ali JaffariRegistered sex offender, Ali Jaffari, accused of attempted child-stealing, has had all charges against him dropped after a Magistrate told prosecutors he would have trouble finding Jaffari guilty.

Jaffari, 35, an Afghan refugee, was convicted in Geelong Magistrates’ Court on August 22, 2013, of indecently assaulting one boy and attempting to indecently assault another. He was placed on a two-year Community Corrections Order with 300 hours unpaid community work.

Jaffari appealed the sentence but was found guilty a second time in Geelong County Court last week, when Judge Meryl Sexton re-sentenced him to the same Community Corrections Order and ordered he be placed on the sex offenders register for 15 years.

Jaffari appeared in Geelong court again yesterday, this time charged with child stealing, attempted child stealing and unlawful assault.

Police Prosecutor, Sergeant Brooke Shears said that about 6.30pm on January 27, 2013, a four year old girl went to Bakers Oval, Geelong West, with her father and brother to play cricket.

She said that while the child’s father was throwing the ball to his son in the nets, the little girl was playing with her own bat at the net opening.

Sgt Shears said Jaffari was walking around the oval, when he approached the child, removed the bat from her hand and rested it against a bollard.

“He then grabbed the child’s hand and began to lead her away before she looked up, saw it wasn’t her father, started crying and pulled her hand away,” she said.

Sudanese Sharia Law: Raped Teenager Charged with Adultery

despondent African woman

A nine-months pregnant teenager who claims she was raped by seven men in Sudan is now facing the death penalty after being charged with adultery.

The married Ethiopian woman was just 18 years old, and three months pregnant, when she was subjected to the attack in August last year.

She says she was searching for a new home in Omdurman,  near the capital Khartoum, and one of the seven accused lured her into an empty property on the premises of renting it out to her and her husband.

She was attacked and held down while a group of men, reportedly aged between 18 and 22, took turns in raping her, according to the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA) network.

Her ordeal was filmed by one of the perpetrators and was circulated on social media via WhatsApp several months after the attack.

When the video of the rape surfaced, the woman and the alleged rapists were arrested and accused of making and distributing indecent material and indecent behaviour.

After first being denied bail, and later charged with prostitution and adultery, the woman is now being prevented from making a formal complaint of rape.

‘Instead victims face the risk that they will instead be prosecuted for adultery, being re-vicitmised by the judicial [sharia] system, and threatened with the ultimate sentence of death by stoning.’

Iowa Imam on Trial for Sexual Assault

Book cover for "Status of Women in Islam"A man accused of sexual assault and sexual exploitation took the witness stand in his own defense Thursday afternoon.

Johnston police said the mother and her 18-year-old daughter both reported being assaulted by [Nermin] Spahic, 41, during a counseling session at their home last August.

Spahic denies the assault happened. He was charged with third-degree sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation by clergy. Spahic told the jury that as an Imam, he is obligated to perform ceremonies for anyone who believes in God. The healing ceremony, he said, is for protecting someone from evil spirits.

The testimony follows other defense witnesses Thursday morning including Tone Bringo. As she was questioned by defense attorney Angela Campbell, she described the religious ceremony performed by Spahic as a popular one in Bosnia, where an Imam will rub areas of the body and read versus aloud from the Koran.

Bringo said the aim of it is to send spiritual healing and expel evil spirits. She described it as similar to an exorcism without the negative connotation. She said it was more of deliverance from evil. Bringo said the use of Black Seed Oil is a new phenomenon gaining popularity in Bosnia.

She also said the ceremony would never involve the Imam touching a woman’s breasts, buttocks or genitals. Instead, she said the touching would occur on the forehead, upper chest, possibly the stomach and the hands and feet.

Prosecutors said the woman brought her daughter to Spahic because of daughter’s depression and hurting herself.  They said during the counseling session he would eventually reach under the girl’s shirt and inappropriately touch her and eventually sexually assault her with his fingers. Prosecutors said Spahic did the same thing to the mother.

Criminalizing Marital Rape is Un-Islamic

Indonesian woman being beaten for the "crime" of having been raped.Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen has refused to ratify a bill that seeks to partially criminalize marital rape, calling it “un-Islamic.”

The parliament voted 67-2 last month to limit a husband’s right to have non-consensual sex with his wife. The bill says a husband cannot force his wife to have sex if the couple have filed for divorce, dissolution or mutual separation, and if the intent is to transmit a sexual disease.

He is right. According to sharia law,  there is no such thing as rape in marriage.  The husband can demand sex with his wife at any time according to Islamic doctrine. He can beat his wife. A good Muslim wife must submit to her husband in all matters, for the male is dominant over the female and he only submits to Allah.

Saudi Men Blame Women Wearing Makeup for Rise in Molestation Cases

Saudi woman applying makeupSaudi men believe women are to blame for the rising cases involving molestation of females on the grounds they are seduced by women’s excessive make up.

The findings were included in a survey conducted by the Riyadh-based King Abdul Aziz Centre for National Dialogue and involved 992 males and females.

The survey, carried by Saudi newspapers, found that 86.5 per cent of the men polled believe that women’s exaggeration in wearing make-up is the main cause of the rise in molestation cases in public places in the conservative Gulf Kingdom.

Sexual Violence in Syria

Anguished Syrian womanSexual violence against women has skyrocketed in Syria since the outbreak of the two-and-half year civil war, say rights campaigners, who in the chaotic circumstances of the brutal conflict have been trying to document cases.  And advocates for women say all too often incidents of sexual violence against women are swept under the carpet because of a sense shame or fear victims will be killed to save their families’ honor.

[ . . . ]
Earlier this week, to coincide with the International Day to End Violence Against Women, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network issued a report warning that Syria’s war has “created a context ripe for violence against women, including sexual violence.” The report detailed cases of women having been raped in detention, used as human shields during military operations and kidnapped to pressure and humiliate family members. Sexual violence and rape has been used as a weapon of war to terrify and punish, says the report.
